Safari Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival in Arusha

You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Venice Hotel in Arusha town. There, you will meet your guide, who will brief you on your upcoming safari and give you all the basic information about it.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Enjoy wildlife viewing on a full day game drives in the park.
Tarangire National Park boasts the second-highest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania after the Serengeti, making it a premier destination for experiencing Africa's diverse fauna. Guided by the life-giving Tarangire River, a vast array of mammals, predators, and birds gather amidst the park's iconic, ancient baobab trees.
In the evening, drive to Rim View Inn Karatu for your overnight stay.



Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater, then Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, drive to the crater floor, half day game drives, late afternoon continue toward Central Serengeti.
The Ngorongoro Crater in northern Tanzania is a unique, self-contained ecosystem that serves as a natural amphitheatre for over 25,000 large animals. It is celebrated for hosting one of the densest populations of large mammalian predators in Africa and offers an exceptional opportunity to see the complete African Big Five.
In the evening, drive to Serengeti Wilderness Camps for your overnight stay.


Day 3: Central Serengeti

Enjoy game drives in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras and other wildlife. In the evening, drive to Serengeti Wilderness Camps for your overnight stay.


Day 4: Northern Serengeti

Travel to the northern migration area, with wildlife viewing along the route.
In the evening, drive to Serengeti Wilderness Camps for your overnight stay.



Day 5: Mara River Migration Safari

Search for wildebeest gathering near the river and observe crossing activity if it occurs. In the evening, drive to Serengeti Wilderness Camps for your overnight stay.


Day 6: Northern Serengeti Game Drives

Spend another day tracking herds and exploring wildlife areas near Kogatende. In the evening, drive to Serengeti Wilderness Camps for your overnight stay.


Day 7: Drive to Karatu

After breakfast, depart from Serengeti National Park and drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Karatu town. Arrive in the late afternoon and check-in at Rim View Inn Karatu, where you will enjoy a delicious hot dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.



Day 8: Drive - Lake Manyara Game Drive, Drop off in Arusha Town.
At around 7:00 a.m., depart for Lake Manyara National Park with your lunch box, followed by a half day lake Manyara National Park game drives.

Lake Manyara National Park features iconic tree-climbing lions, vast herds of elephants, thousands of pink flamingos, the scenic Lake Manyara Treetop Walkway, and the bubbling Maji Moto Hot Springs, all framed by the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment.

The hippo attraction at Lake Manyara National Park centers around the famous Lake Manyara Hippo Pool, a permanent freshwater pool near the northern shore fed by the Simba River. It features a raised viewing platform where visitors safely watch large pods of hippos wallow.

In the afternoon, after lunch at a picnic site, leave the park for Arusha town. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Venice Hotel.

Day 0: Transfer to JRO Kilimanjaro International Airport
You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., or later in the afternoon, depending on your flight schedule, for your onward journey home or to your next destination.

  • Note: On this day, only breakfast is Included

Availability:

Please be advised that availability cannot be guaranteed for any group safari date until your booking has been confirmed.

Once your safari has been confirmed and your deposit has been received, your agreed price is locked in and will not be affected by any subsequent price increases.

Booking/Payment Policy for Lodge Safaris:

A deposit of 15% of the safari cost per person is required at the time of booking to confirm and secure your safari reservation with us.

Paying the Remaining Balance:

Option 1: The outstanding balance can be paid by credit/debit card at least 21 days prior to your arrival.

Option 2: The outstanding balance can be paid in cash in US Dollars, Or its equivalent in either EUROS, OR STERLING POUNDS.

Cash condition: Bring clean, undamaged US dollar bills printed after 2009 or later. Avoid coins since they cannot be exchanged locally.

We accept all major cards - Debit/Credit:
VISA, Master Card, and AMEX - Credit & Debit Cards.



Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your safari booking at any time and for any reason. Once we receive your cancellation request, we will promptly work to fill your reserved seat with another solo traveller.

We offer a 100% refund, processed on the same day we receive your cancellation request, usually within 3 to 12 hours of receiving your cancellation email or WhatsApp message. All refunds will be issued through the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Our low deposit requirement allows us to process refunds quickly and efficiently, giving you greater flexibility and peace of mind when booking your safari with us.

We have special agreements with our partner hotels and tented camps, allowing us to reserve the rooms you need without making upfront payments. Once your safari booking is confirmed with us through payment of the required deposit, you can rest assured that we will take care of all the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and seamless safari experience.
