Tanzanite Gemstone
Tanzania is famous for its rich gemstone deposits, most notably Tanzanite, a rare blue-violet gem found nowhere else, named after the country and discovered in 1967 near Mount Kilimanjaro. Beyond tanzanite, Tanzania also yields other valuable gems like sapphires, rubies, emeralds, green Tsavorite garnet, tourmaline, spinel, and zircon, making it a significant global source for colored gemstones

Tsavorite Gemstone
Tsavorite is a rare, vibrant green grossular garnet known for its exceptional brilliance and durability, colored by vanadium or chromium, and often considered a superior alternative to emerald due to its clarity and toughness, making it excellent for all jewelry, though stones over 2 carats are extremely rare and valuable. Discovered in 1967, it's named after Kenya's Tsavo region and is found in East Africa, prized for its vivid green hues and good wearing qualities.
